From extracting teeth to attempting root canals and melting down ‘polybeads’ to use as false teeth, Britons have shared desperate experiences in a survey that gives new insights into the unfolding crisis in dentistry.
Wer mal Zahnschmerzen hatte, weiß wie verzweifelt man ist, wenn man warten muss, bis man dran kommt. Es gibt dort nicht genug "Kassen-Zahnärzte" sprich NHS, das muss der Markt dort regeln. Lol.
The results also show that the majority of the unregistered are unable to access, or afford, treatment. More than a third 37% say it’s because they cannot find an NHS dentist to take them on, with a further 5% on a waiting list, while another 23% say they’re not registered because they don’t think they can afford to be treated.
Was?! Sind das schon amerikanische Verhältnisse? Wobei man in den USA bestimmt einen fahrenden Zahnarzt im Viertel hat, der einfach alles raus zieht.
Hier(tm) gibt es so viele Zahnärzte, die machen sie Konkurrenz bei den Öffnungszeiten, man kann sogar um 20 Uhr zum Zahnarzt. Mir ist letztens die Krone rausgefallen, ich saß innerhalb von 45 Minuten im Stuhl bei meiner Zahnärztin.
