| Epic schreibt mit Fortnite heute Geschichte. Seid dabei! |  |
Mit dem heutigen Live-Konzert in Fortnite hat Epic in meinen Augen ein neues Kapitel der Entertainment-Branche begonnen. Für (kurze) 10 Minuten wurden alle (d.h. Millionen!) von Spielern, die gerade in Fortnite aktiv waren, gepackt und á 60 Mann in die In-Game-Open-Air-Bühne Pleasent Park transportiert, wo ein Dubstep-DJ namens Marshmello sein Set begann. Dass dabei Waffeneinsatz deaktiviert war und jeder seine Lieblings-Zappeleien aufführte, liegt bei Fortnite ja nahe - das Coole war nur, dass der DJ als MC die ganze Sache auch noch koordinierte und stellenweise die gesamte Physik des Spiels passend zum Rhythmus der Musik verändert wurde!

„And it was quite visually impressive. The stage came to life with building-sized holograms of Fortnite characters, while a custom set of graphics played behind Marshmello’s avatar. At certain points, timed to the shifts in the fast-moving dance music, the stage would alter gravity, sending players bouncing into the sky and even floating in place at one point. All the while, a majority of players, at least in my match, were dancing using in-game emotes and generally goofing off in various spots around the stage and up close right in front of Marshmello’s avatar. It finally felt like a Fortnite event that wasn’t punctuated by guns and chaos, as most prior ones have been. (Granted, as soon as the event ended, the scene devolved into a killing contest between the two sides.)“

Alternativ kann man auch als Spieler an dem Zusatzkonzert heute (Sonntag) teilnehmen. Dafür muss man einfach nur früh aufstehen und sicherstellen, dass man sich um 8:00 Uhr in einem Match in Fortnite befindet! Ich find‘s großartig!! :)
