Hast du den OSSC denn an einem Monitor oder einem Fernseher benutzt? Was im neuesten Newsletter von VideoGamePerfection steht, klingt ja leider nicht so super.
If you've been following the OSSCs progress closely, you might have seen reports that the SNES console doesn't work well with the system. The truth is that OSSC is actually fully compatible with the SNES, but certain displays cannot accept the signal that the OSSC outputs when used with the SNES.
So far in our testing, we've found computer monitors to be completely compatible, while many consumer televisions have issues. Sadly the problem is proving quite difficult to fix, though we haven't given up yet and we will be exploring all options, including possible hardware mods.
Ich würde das Ding ja sofort kaufen zum Release. Aber das SNES wäre mein Haupteinsatzgebiet und wenn das im Hinblick auf die TV-Kompatibilität zum Glücksspiel wird, wäre das recht doof.
Ich könnte den OSSC dann noch an einen 4:3-Monitor mit DVI-Eingang hängen, den ich noch habe. Der hat aber 1280x1024 - würde das Zusammenspiel zwischen OSSC und diesem Monitor überhaupt gehen?
