Das ist alles sehr vage und größtenteils wird auch wieder alles quer durcheinandergehauen.
40% der Patienten in den USA sind also zwischen 20 und 54, das sagt uns erstmal absolut gar nichts. Wieviele von den 40% sind 20, 30, 40, 50? Wieviele davon haben Vorerkrankungen (gerade in den USA mit der grassierenden Fettleibigkeit ist das ein Riesenfaktor).
Weiter gehts:

Es wird also nur auf die medizinischen Unterlagen der Patienten geguckt und nicht tatsächlich geprüft (was natürlich auch nicht immer möglich sein wird)ob Vorerkrankungen vorliegen.
Was ich da insgesamt herauslese ist, dass es einige sehr sehr seltene Fälle geben könnte bei denen relativ junge Leute ohne Vorerkrankungen stark betroffen sind.
Von einer Quote von 15 bis 20% aller Altersgruppen die im Krankenhaus landen kann da aber bei weitem keine Rede sein.
