And it all sums up in one sentence: starting now, you can get a full refund up to 30 days after purchasing a product, even if you downloaded, launched, and played it. That's it.

Das ist natürlich eine krasse Nummer, wenn man bedenkt, dass man bei GOG alle Spiele als DRM-freie Installationsdatei bekommt und so das Spiel auch nach der "Rückgabe" und erfolgter Geldrückerstattung natürlich noch spielbar auf der Platte hat, sollte man es nicht fairerweise löschen. Auch könnte man beliebig erneut installieren oder auch weitergeben (gut, das konnte man eh schon immer, wenn man ein Sack war). Natürlich schreiben sie in einem Support-Artikel, dass sie sich das Recht vorbehalten, einzelnen Leuten nicht mehr zu erstatten, sollten sie es missbrauchen.
Auf jeden Fall: Hut ab. Ich sollte da echt häufiger kaufen (habe da erst wenige aktuelle Spiele, meist Double Dips im Sale, um die DRM-freie Version eines guten Indie-Titels zu bekommen; der größte Teil meiner GOG-Library sind 90er Jahre DOS-Titel). Das ist eigentlich der einzige Store, bei dem man sich keinen Kopf um seine digitalen Käufe in x Jahren machen muss, sofern man die Setup.exe entsprechend archiviert. Die müsste man echt mehr unterstützen. Erst recht, wo mittlerweile eh nicht mehr alles bei Steam kommt und ich schon mehrere Spiele als Steam-fremd dort reingeholt habe und das eigentlich ganz ok so ist. Hm, und dann kauf ich doch wieder bei Steam, weil ich ein bequemes Schwein bin. Ich kann schon sehen, wie mir das in 10, 15 Jahren in den Arsch beißen wird.
