Die Vorgänger, also '94 bis '97 gibt es ebenfalls als ACA Release. Das entspricht dann dem Inhalt der Orochi-Saga.
KoF '97 gibt es noch einmal als Global Match Variante mit neuen Kämpfern und Netplay

Ansonsten ist auf jeden Fall KoF 14 empfehlenswert, ist nur eben kein "Klassiker":

Von allen anderen Veröffentlichungen auf PS4 würde ich abraten, da es sich um die angesprochenen PS2-Port-PS4-Emu-Dinger handelt.
