"Bewusst missverständlich" hieße ja, sie wollten ihre Kunden irreführen; er ist einfach nur bewusst so geschnitten, dass die verschiedenen Ära der Mario-Spiele sozusagen parallel zu denen der japanischen Zeitrechnung wahrgenommen werden können:
