These include an expanded edition of the C64 book with more content and hardback option, a premium art book all about games artists, Amstrad CPC, SNES (if I can ever get permission from Nintendo) and the list goes on!! Got loads of ideas and not enough time :-)!"

The C64 book is already produced so will not be hardback. The only way it will be, is if I do another print run down the line. Sorry.
Personally, I don't think either book needs to be hardback, the double thickness softcover with a dust jacket is more than adequate.
The reason I offered 25 hardbacks is because It was something to make them feel exclusive, not because I thought it would make it a better book. Trust me, by not having it hardback, you are not getting an inferior product. After all, this project should be all about the design and contents of the book, not hardback or softcover.
