Nintendo war also auch mal der Böse, der Lik-Sang zu Fall und zur Schließung brachte. Wer hier gegen Sony stänkert, sollte Nintendo konsequenterweise auch noch auf seine Hassliste setzen.

2002 wusste man also, dass die Gegenseite finanziell ziemlich gut dasteht, ging aber in den Folgejahren stets auf Konfrontationskurs bis vors Gericht. Kopfschüttel....
2. Das fand ich ganz schlechten Stil, 1up bringt es auf den Punkt:

3. Lik-Sang ist mehrfach von Sony gewarnt worden, den Export nach UK mit PSP zu unterlassen. Einige Händler haben sich daran gehalten, andere sind nicht weiter aufgefallen. Wer aber Sony nach direkten Warnungen ständig provoziert:

und dann eine Pressemeldung rausgibt:

...trägt wohl auch eine nicht geringe Mitschuld an der Misere.
4. Ich wette, dass mindstens 1/3 der Jammernden hier sich eine Import PS3 in den nächsten Monaten kaufen werden.

Ich erinnere mich noch gut an 2004, als diese Pressemitteilung kam und hier im Forum Hassbeirtäge auf Lik-Sang folgten, dass er online die Kräfteverhältnisse drastisch verändern wird und man Halo online nicht mehr spielen kann, weil die Leute mit Keyboard im Vorteil sind:

Was musste Rocco damals nicht alles klarstellen und für fiese Beiträge aushalten, weil die Halo-Fans den Weltuntergang kommen sahen. Da wurden Lik-Sang Boykott Aufrufe gestartet und was nicht alles.
7. Es gibt zig andere Importhändler, die weiterhin aus dem Ausland liefern. Sei es der kleine Shop aus Japan, der ALLES besorgt und das zu Preisen, die niemand halten kann oder andere HK, USA oder Kanada Läden, die weiterhin gewohnt liefern. Auch Amazon.uk liefert seit kurzem wieder UK Spiele. Mein japanisches Heaven's Will für PSP ist jedenfalls schon unterwegs, die PS3 vorbestellt.
8. Das, was Lik-Sang passiert ist, ist nichts zu dem, was deutsche Importhändler in den letzten 10 Jahren hierzulande mitmachen mussten.
Wegen dem Verkauf von Importen rückte morgens um 7 die Polizei mitsamt GVU an, räumte Geschäfts- und Privaträume leer (PC, private Sammlungen, Aktenordner, Kontoauszüge).
Staatsanwaltschaften verklagten scharenweise Händler, die in Heften mit Importen warben. Firma XXXXXX drohte Händlern schriftlich mit Konsequenzen, falls sie XXX1 (PS) als Import verkaufen würden und verlangte eine Unterlassungserklärung.
Ebenso zehrte XXXXXXXX Händler vor Gericht, weil sie N64 Importe verkauft hatten und pochte auf Schadensersatz im 6-stelligen Bereich (was auch vom Gericht so entschieden wurde. Die Händler zahlen heute noch ab).
Ähnliches machte Publisher XXXXX schon in den späten 80ern wegen GB Importen mit einigen Hamburger Händlern (ECS?).

Erneut wie schon 2002, als man eine neue Firma gegründet hat und nur die Webseite behalten hat. Die alte Firma durfte sich dann nur noch um die Klagen von MS, Sony und Nintendo kümmern (ging um Modchips und GBA Flasher). Ich glaube, dass die erneut wiederkommen. Vielleicht dann einfach ohne Produkte von Sony.
Ich kann übrigens Sony verstehen. Die PSP sicherlich nur ein Vorwand. Im Grunde geht es um die PS3. Die ist in Japan erstmal knapp und man will nicht, dass diese wenigen auch noch nach Europa kommen.
Zum Glück kann man noch hier diskutieren. Im Maniac ist Sony das schlimmste was Gott erschaffen hat.
