Initially a high school environmentalist, Hinkle's politics later shifted to a more conspiratorial tone, agitating online around an alleged globalist threat, and he adopted pro-fossil fuels stances. Hinkle describes himself as an "American Conservative Marxist–Leninist", among other labels. He is known for promoting conspiracy theories and is a proponent of MAGA Communism, a slogan calling on those who support the working class to ally with the MAGA movement. He is also known for his support of Vladimir Putin in the Russo-Ukrainian War, and for his pro-Hamas and anti-Israel views in the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.
