– Nomadland ist der klare Sieger des Abends: Picture, Director und (Überraschung) Actress (Frances McDormand)
– Die Academy hat es tatsächlich getan (!) und hat Chadwick Boseman NICHT den Oscar gegeben, sondern Anthony Hopkins! Das wird 'ne ziemlich geile Diskussion, aber sorry an alle Boseman-Fans: Hopkins WAR besser. Und in solchen Fällen ist die Academy NIE sentimental.
– Sound of Metal, Soul, The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah & Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom erhalten je zwei Oscars. Definiere “Spread the Wealth”
– Promising Young Womand & Minari kriegen je einen Oscar. Trial of the Chicago 7? Zilch, Zero, Nix
– Ansonsten: einen Oscar für Tenet, einen für Another Round, einen für My Octopus Teacher.
– Eine Verleihung geprägt von langen reden, ohne großes Filmclips-Brimborium wie sonst. Das Ende arg hastig inszeniert, ansonsten fand ich's angenehm. Die meisten Oscar-Watcher hassen sie allerdings bereits XD
- Meine persönlichen Vorhersagen? Eine Katastrophe XD Nur 15 korrekt erraten, 6 als Spoiler und 2 überhaupt nicht (Documentary Short & Song). Zumindest hab ich einen landläufig unerwarteten Treffer gehabt, nämlich Hopkins.
