What Does It Take To Run At 60fps?
Alex's far more comprehensive settings breakdown is coming, but warming you up for the big event, Rich tests out basic scalability and settings management in the new Red Dead Redemption 2 port and answers the question - what does it take to run at 1080p60 with graphics on par or better than the consoles?

So basically, it's not possible to fully match console settings on PC, because even the xbox one x version has lower than low settings for some graphical options. The video does provide a snapshot of the options menu for closest ballpark though, if you are interested. They're also doing a 2nd video where they'll be going more in depth on benchmarking with console like settings.

RX 580, GTX 1660 can do 1080p with consistent 60fps with those settings, while the GTX 1060 generally turns in 48-52 fps at stress points. AMD & Turing performs considerably better than Maxwell & Pascal.

DF considers the port to have good scaling, and future proofed with the ultra settings. General optimization is good, though 4k30 at XBX like-settings with an RX580 is not possible, despite having similiar TFlops to the console, but it's close (bandwith disadvantage of the PC part is cited as possible reason). 1800p30 would be likely possible.
